Concorde's dam is Flyer out the legendary showjumping stallion, Marco Polo. Marco Polo, a trakehner, is considered to be the most influential modern Dutch foundation Stallion in breeding and jumping with many successful sons and daughters. His daughter Flyer, dam of Concorde, has produced at least six international jumpers.

Like his sire, Concorde has proven to be a world ranked showjumping sire and was the 2004 Horse of the Year in Holland. He also has had a successful career as an international jumper with Jos Lansink.
