| Olando by Ramiro Z
out of Tatmavictu brings together Rittersporn blood from Fresk with
that of Ramzes to produce a rare combination of Rittersporn on both
sides of the pedigree. Ramiro Z is one of the very top stallions of
recent history in sire ranking with more than 50 offspring jumping
or have jumped at the highest level from which the most famous is
Ratina with Royal Kaliber in the spotlight today. Ramiro Z produces
power, scope, a good mind, and carefulness. Tatmavictu produces
determination, balance, agility and movement. While Ramiro Z is so famous, Tatmavictu, NA/WPN registered Trakehner mare by Sobek out of Tarkwa is not so well known. So we provide you more information about this mare. She combines two of the most famous Trakehner jumping lines in Europe, namely Rittersporn and Bafur. Her sire Sobek is by Fresk, a fiery red chestnut stallion who is the only Polish Trakehner horse listed among the top ten producers of event horses, the remaining nine being thoroughbreds. Fresk's dam's sire, Rumian, is the son of Rittersporn, the originator of famous European jumping lines. Rittersporn is by St Saulge. He sired female jumpers Warszawianka and Wizja, both becoming Olympic mounts. His three most significant stallions were Rumian, Rybak and Ramzes. The line produced by Ramzes is legendary today with one of the greatest descendents being Ramiro. Sobek also descends from Bafur who produced three stallions who competed in the Olympic Military event including Arlekin II who won the Silver Medal. Sobek's dam is Sobietaka, thought to be one of the most valuable mares in Trakehner breeding in Poland. Sobietaka produced three colts who won gold medals in the national stallion competitions and who became head stallions at state studs. Tatmavictu's dam Tarkwa descends from Bafur from both her sire and dam. Tarkwa is bred to Bafur 6 free generations, which is considered ideal for transmitting desirable characteristics to current generations. This combination of Bafur XX blood from both Tatmavictu's sire Sobek and dam Tarkwa and the Rittersporn XX and St Saulge XX bloodlines on both sides of the pedigree produce the excellent potential for this ability to manifest itself in the current generation of performance horses. |
